This song is far to happy for my taste. It's far too happy for my lifestyle. I can't see this played at a party. In fact, I don't want to see this at a party.

Though, you did put a considerable amount of work into it...Good job on that. Hard work always makes good music. I wish I could do that. I can crank out one mediocre song a day, if I try, but this is way out of my 1-day range.

Try to slow it down. It's such a waste. Bangbangbangbangbangbangbang is no good. Though that melody may not sound so nice slowed down. Aaagh, I can't decide.

I had your exact same problem when I first started.

In the piano roll, do this:

For the kick, just right click and click "Fill each 4 steps"

Then for your bass, do the bass like this:

Based on the descripton, I give this a 6. If this was a song, I would have given lower, but that's just evil, considering it's a demo. Some tips:
* louder kick - hardstyle's all about the kick. add more bass to the kick (eq)
* the melody is... - the melody has weird timing. use either 16ths or 8th triplets.
* more melody - the melody's not...i dunno the word. i'm gonna say screaming. the melody doesn't scream enough. it sounds like some lowpass filter or something is on it. we need to hear those high tones! maybe add another octave above the main melody...yup.
